Arrived in the busy port of Pireaus... Several cruise ships hanging out here today, which means nearly 10, 000 touists headed for the Acropolis
Another early start this morning and another long day... Quite a bit of it negotiating traffic. But we had a very good and informative visit to the Acropolis in Athens and the Parthenon. It was very crowded on top. Our next stop have us an hour plus at the National Archeological Museum.... Then a traditional Greek lunch, with a dancing girl! During our free time, instead of shopping we toured the grounds of the Temple of Zeus.
Back on the ship, Bruce went for a swim. Dinner in the Britannia Restaurant was followed by a great comedian in the a Royal Court Theatre..
Docked on the large port of Pireus... Part of the Athens metro area.
